Buna Coffee
Buna Coffee sells products for a purpose. Texas A&M senior Mandy Miller started Buna Coffee as a sophomore, when she first visited Ethiopia. Once she built relationships there, Buna was born. Buna exists to create jobs and provide true hope for families in Ethiopia through people’s passion for coffee and culture. The beans are hand-roasted over an open fire by a mother in Ethiopia who is working hard to provide for her family.
Noonday Collection
Noonday Collection partners with artisan businesses in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities to design and sell jewelry and accessories. Their goal is to empower these communities with sustainable and dignified jobs, developing fair trade businesses that focus on forming relationships and ethical work practices to make a difference. The name Noonday Collection is drawn from Isaiah 58:10 which reads “If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become light the noonday”, representing the heart of their mission.
