The SEAD Gallery and Bookshop is excited to announce that local author and professor, Dr. David Flint, will be joining us for our next installment in our Author Talk Series. Dr. Flint’s talk will take place on April 19th from 6:30 – 8 PM and will cover his recently released business book, “Think Beyond Value: Building Strategy to Win”.
Dr. Flint teaches strategic management and entrepreneurship at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School. Not only a professor, Flint is also a businessman, consultant, public speaker, and now, an author.
“Think Beyond Value” presents the V-REEL framework, a framework that he originally developed to aid his teaching of strategy formulation. Since developing the tool, Flint has used V-REEL in support of consulting engagements, and is now working to use it with both his for-profit and not-for-profit enterprises domestically and internationally. Think Beyond Value describes the V-REEL framework in an easy-to-read and practical manner, and is sure to be a valuable resource to any organization or individual seeking to think beyond value and develop sound strategy for business and for life.
